As part of the Comprehensive Child Development Scheme, teachers at Anganwadi Centers in Alwal, Medipalli, Malkajgiri, Uppal, Ghatkesar and Capra zones under the Alwal project are inviting applications online from eligible women candidates for the respective jobs, said Swati, Child Development Project Officer, Alwal Project. She said applications should be submitted through http://wdcw.tg.nic.in or http://mis.tgwdcw.nic.in website by 5 pm on the 15th of this month.
She suggested visiting the website for other details on the qualifications and vacancies required for the jobs.
Candidates who have applied are requested to appear for the interview with original certificates from 19th to 23rd of this month from 10.30 am to 5 pm at ICDS office at house number G8-81, Ishwari Apartment Meena, Temple Alwal opposite Multi Specialty Hospital.

The government has already ordered the lockdown to go directly to the beneficiary’s home and deliver the goods. A committee comprising Anganwadi teacher, village secretary and local police will provide nutrition to the beneficiaries. So far, the distribution of Anganwadi goods during the holidays has not taken place. However, in view of the current situation, it was decided to distribute the goods during the holidays as well
Three of the villages with the highest number of beneficiaries will be called to the Anganwadi Centers. District welfare officials have taken steps to deliver directly to households in villages with a small number of beneficiaries. The district has a total population of 1,25,792, including pregnant women, nursing mothers and children
Of these, 14,897 were pregnant, 13,022 were postpartum, 14,777 were infants (6 months to a year), 52,173 were children aged 3 years and 30,923 were aged 3 to 6 years. However, the district welfare department has made available enough supplies for the lockdown till the end of this month and has also collected details of pregnant women. It has prepared the staff to take all necessary steps without any embarrassment to them. Arrangements will be made in consultation with the medical authorities to make ambulances available as per the dates for transporting the women to the hospital near the time of childbirth
Anganwadi centers closed with lockdown. With this we are taking steps to deliver goods directly to the home for pregnant women, nursing mothers and children. We are making arrangements so as not to embarrass any single beneficiaries. We will start distributing the goods from the 16th of this month in accordance with the Kovid rules
