The government is paying Rs 6,439 crore this year under support to 78.76 lakh sisters in 7.97 lakh savings societies in rural and urban areas.It is learned that ministers, local MLAs, MPs and MLCs will be conducting face-to-face programs with the beneficiaries from the 7th of this month during the distribution of the second tranche of checks. In this context, special programs were held under the auspices of local MLAs in 54 constituencies across the state on Thursday. A total of 556 Asara week events have been organized in 12 districts from 7 to date.
