CM Jaganmohan Reddy says Amma Odi has started the scheme and is running it smoothly. They said that 75 per cent attendance was decided for the Amma Odi scheme to significantly reduce dropouts in schools, adding that the provision was included in the relevant GEO when the scheme was introduced in 2019. The CM said it was sad that 51,000 mothers were not receiving the scheme for the current academic year and appealed to mothers to send their children to boarding schools regularly so that such a situation does not recur in the future. He explained that the scheme was being implemented with the good intention that poverty should not be a barrier to education.
Against this backdrop, the launch of CM Jaganmohan Reddy Manasa Putrika Amma Odi scheme will take place today. The scheme is being implemented to encourage mothers who send their children into slavery. This time Rs 13,000 will be credited directly to the mothers' accounts. Out of the amount provided through this scheme, 13 thousand out of 15 thousand rupees allotted to mothers will be given under the School Maintenance Fund and Toilet Maintenance Fund at the rate of two thousand rupees per thousand. Beneficiary selection has already been completed. The government says it has provided Rs 6349.53 crore to 42,33,098 mothers in 2019-20 and Rs 6,673 crore to 44,48,865 mothers in 2020-21 for a total of Rs 19,617.53 crore.

The CM will release funds related to the ambitious scheme Amma Odi. Funds have been released in two tranches so far. The third installment will be released at Srikakulam District Center, KR Stadium as part of the program. Arrangements have already been made for his arrival. He will address in a few more hours. Through this scheme, the authorities are taking steps to deposit Rs 6,595 crore in this installment into the mothers' accounts. This time 43,96,402 mothers will receive money through the scheme. A total of 82, 31, 502 students will benefit.
