The Government of Andhra Pradesh is providing monthly pensions to various categories under the YSR Pension Gift Scheme The state provides social security pensions for the elderly, widows, the disabled, fishermen, songwriters, traditional tanners, belly artists, artists, the chronically ill and dialysis patients.

In case of widows, death certificate of the husband and in the case of Hijras, the certificate issued by the District Medical Department has to be submitted.



At present the state has old age pensions-27,74,064, widows' pensions-21,62,433, disabled pensions-6,49,756, handloom workers' pensions-1,08,623, song workers' pensions-34,749, Hijra pensions-2,83, 65, single women Pensions - 58,061, traditional tanners' pensions - 31,329, fat artists' pensions - 43,188, chronic diseases pensions - 47,803, dialysis pensions - 9,528, artists' pensions - 30,849 total - 61,40,090




The AP government has decided to continue the distribution of pensions, which has been limited to a single date in the AP for a few months, for three days. CMO orders distribution of pensions for three days so that no beneficiary gets in trouble for receiving pension.



The decision will take effect from December. On December 1, 2 and 3, volunteers will go to the homes of the beneficiaries and distribute the pensions. Distribution was allowed for two days in remote areas such as tribal areas



Those who were unable to take the day off due to reasons such as lack of wool when the volunteers went to deliver are being paid, including arrears the following month. CM Jagan directed that no beneficiaries should be harassed in this manner and steps should be taken to ensure pension to all




It was decided to distribute the pensions on one, two and three dates every month from December. Authorities are looking into making arrangements at the respective ward and village secretariats for those who are unable to take even within these three days due to any reasons.



Pensions will be distributed to 61 lakh 69 thousand 832 people for one to three days from December. For this, Rs 1,510.90 crore released by the government has been deposited in the accounts of all ward and village secretariat secretaries in the state.




For those who have not taken the pension for three consecutive months, according to the rules, the pension has to be suspended and resumed only after reconsideration.





However, it was decided to distribute this month's money along with three months' arrears to 7,462 people who had not taken their pensions for three consecutive months.
